Ten. Three’s Company. This show premiered in the 1970s and back then it was considered shocking. A guy living with two girls and pretending to be gay was pretty much smut back then.

10. The Dick Van Dyke Show. A downright hilarious show which has since then become a classic and a measuring stick for all comedians. Even as we approach an entirely new era in comedy, this show is still comparable.

8. Arrested Development. A newer show created by Ron Howard. Based on the lives of the once wealthy Bluth family. Very funny and unfortunately did not last a very long time on the air.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Hilarious show with very entertaining characters and interesting stories. The plotlines of this show are much deeper than most comedies out there.

I Love Lucy. This very funny show has been showing on the air since 1951. Obviously, re-runs but still funny even in today’s standards. This show has many die-hard fans proven by the I Love Lucy conventions every year.

5. Curb Your Enthusiasm comes from the creator of Seinfeld. A very funny television show which tends to use some profanity during the episodes. Very funny and packed with sexual innuendos.

Four. The Simpsons. Yes, it’s a cartoon. But a cartoon that has been making us all laugh for 20 odd years.

Three. All In The Family. Not slap stick, laughing and rolling out of your chair funny, but funny just the same and incredibly ground breaking.

Seinfeld. Ensured to become a classic, this television show was hot right out of the gates all the way until the final episode where the final line of the show just happened to be the very first line on the very first episode; these details are what made this show so funny.

One. The Honeymooners. Jackie Gleason once said that they were four people on one small set that managed to be funny and entertaining without profanity or any sort of sexual innuendo. Most of the episodes took place in the Kramden’s kitchen with only the four primary actors. And it was funny.
