i’ve heard so many good things about Cracow I can’t wait to visit there this summer. I may have to cut parts of my itinerary in other countries short, just so I can spend more time here. Could anyone recommend a good hostel or at least somewhere authentic yet doesn’t break the wallet…?

    1. Surely you should visit the Wawel castle. This is like 3 things in one, you’ll see why ;)
    2. Just go around the old center and get urself sucked in.
    3. Go to Casmirus – the old jewish district – it’s really nice
    4. If you like parties, go to wielopole street, there are some nice clubs, 5 of them actually, in one building. Caryca, Lubudubu, Kitsch, OffCentrum. Also there is a lot of other nice clubs around the market square.
    5. I don’t know…maybe go shopping? or get drunk? :P

Po pierwsze. Platforma zdobyła łącznie więcej głosów. Po drugie nie na PiS a na Ziobro. Różnica.

I came here when i was 17 on a history trip and i loved the place, still, it is the best place i’ve ever been. it is certainly a place that i will return to in the future. it truly is a beautiful city, from its history to the people there!

What is more, this movie DOES NOT reflect the real magic and atmosphere in Cracow, when you walk at night trough the city centre. You can fall in love with this place, where old tradition meets modern art – in architecture, music, cultural life. In RYNEK and all many streets nearby the old tenement-houses are in perfect shape. In them there are restaurants and pubs; under big, nice clubs with every type of music.

In Poland more and more people speak English and other languages, especially young people. In big citys, like Cracow, English is widely undesrstood in all stores, restaurants, pubs and clubs. Communication in Cracow is perfect, all places are open till morning! In RYNEK on every street you’ll find thousands of clubs, pubs, coffeess, restaurants, art galleries etc. There are mostly young people (Cracow is city with about 200 000 students) but also artists, actors, singers and beautifull girls :)

779256: I love Europe, and Poland is on my list of places to go.
    question:
in Poland is English widely understood
is it relatively easy to travel to Czech R.
do most places stay open late or close early
I ask this as on vacation sometimes i find it hard to sleep. So i will go out late until i’m really tired.

Nice vid, thanks. Was in Krakow last week and can confirm the film reflects the city very well. Only negative was the stag parties countering the fantastic ambience – they were British, of course.
Recommend trips to Salt Mine and Auschwitz.

One of the most beautiful cities you could ever have the chance of visiting. Steeped in history, people are fantastic. GO.

Eh, the Illuminati is run by reptilian kin known throughout history as Jinn, Naga, Kappa, Demons, Dragons, Dracul, Merovingians, Windsors, Rothschilds etc. that rule the inner cults of Freemasonry and do foul sex&torture rituals. They’ll probably release a bird flu virus via vaccines(or by drones), go to internet 2, start WW3 w/China, have a staged alien invasion(2010) to get a microchipped pop/world gov but will fair!
